Gallagher Shopping, Retail and Trade Parks are situated on the eastern periphery of Bristol, adjacent to the A4174. The parks form part of a cluster which is anchored by an ASDA food store, and extends to around 350,000 sq ft of Open A1 non food retail warehousing.
The site was acquired in 1984 and the first phase of development activity comprised 80,000 sq ft of non food retail warehousing which was let to Wickes and Homebase.
In 1998, the second phase of development activity delivered a 120,000 sq ft non food retail warehouse for B&Q and Comet.
In 2003, Gallagher entered into a joint venture with Clerical & Medical to deliver the 91,000 sq ft Gallagher Shopping Park, which opened for trade in December 2006 and is let to M&S, NEXT, Outfit, Boots, New Look, River Island, Clarks Shoes and Clinton Cards.
The fourth and final phase of activity on the site was the delivery of Gallagher Trade Park which comprised a Churchill Insurance Repair Centre and a Buildbase unit. This phase also has consent for a further 78,000 sq ft of trade park accommodation.
