Gallagher Retail Park, Coventry, comprises a 172,500 sq ft retail warehouse scheme which sits adjacent to the A444 to the north of Coventry City Centre, and approximately 2 miles from Junction 3 of the M6.
The scheme opened in 1997, having been constructed on the site of the demolished Alfred Herbert machine tools works. The original scheme comprised an L-shaped retail park together with a fast food restaurant, which extended to 145,000 sq ft and has the benefit of Open A1 non food planning consent.
In 2002, the second phase was added to the scheme, which comprised a further 27,500 sq ft of retail units with a restricted consent, and the comprehensive reconfiguration of vehicular access to the site.
The current occupiers are TK Maxx, Argos, Shoefayre, Starplan, Comet, Pets at Home, Matalan, ScS, FW Homestores, Maplin, Home Outlet Superstore, Instore, JJB Sports, McDonalds, Dreams, Harveys and B&M Bargains.
